The real worship of God does not show itself in ecstasy, in murmured prayers, in begging, kneeling, and wringing of one’s hands, nor in blissful thrills, but in joyful activity! In the jubilant affirmation of this life on earth! In the full enjoyment of every moment! And full enjoyment means to make full use. Making full use in turn means... to experience! Not however, in dance and play or in time wasting activities, which are harmful to body and soul, and which the intellect seeks and needs as a balance and as a stimulant to its activity, but in looking upwards to the Light and Its Will, which only furthers, uplifts, and ennobles all that exists in Creation!

29- ADORATION DE DIEU

La véritable adoration de Dieu ne se montre pas dans la rêverie exaltée, dans les murmures des prières, dans les mendicités, les génuflexions, les torsions de mains, pas plus dans les frissons sacrés, mais uniquement dans l’action joyeuse. Dans la jubilante affirmation de savourer chaque instant de cette existence terrestre. Savourer signifie mettre à profit. Tirer profit de nouveau... vivre. Cependant, non pas dans le jeu et la danse ni dans les gaspillages de temps préjudiciables aux corps et aux âmes que l’intellect recherche et dont il éprouve le besoin comme compensation et excitation pour son activité, mais, au contraire, en un regard levé vers le haut, vers la Lumière et vers sa Volonté, laquelle ne fait que promouvoir, élever et ennoblir tout ce qui existe dans la Création.

Betrachtet Euch einmal die Feste oder Feiern, die zu Gottes Ehre dienen sollen, wo von Bitten und von Betteln ausnahmsweise einmal abgelassen wird. Da sind die Oratorien *(geistliche Tonstücke)! Sucht Euch die Sänger, die in Gottesanbetung singen! Seht sie Euch an, wenn sie sich dazu vorbereiten in dem Saale oder in der Kirche. Sie alle wollen etwas leisten, um damit den Menschen zu gefallen. Gott ist ihnen dabei ziemlich gleichgültig. Gerade er, dem es ja gelten soll! Blickt auf den Dirigenten! Er heischt nach Beifall, will den Menschen zeigen was er kann.

Na jubilosa afirmação dessa existência terrena! Pela usufruição de cada momento! Usufruir significa aproveitar. Aproveitar, por sua vez... vivenciar! Não, porém, em jogo e dança, nem em desperdícios de tempo que prejudicam o corpo e a alma, os quais o intelecto procura e precisa como equilíbrio e estímulo de sua atividade, mas no olhar voltado para a Luz e para a vontade da mesma, que estimula, eleva e enobrece tudo quanto existe na Criação!
